It is with a heavy heart to write this statement.
Internally as a team, we have been proactive since last week to do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19, and appreciate your patience with the delay of orders.
Due to the current state our offices have been closed and our team is working remotely in the meantime. All of our jewelry is made-to-order in-house and in collaboration with third generation jewelers in the heart of the jewelry district in Downtown Los Angeles. Through strict precautionary measures, our jewelers will no longer be making jewelry during this tumultuous time.
From our entire team, we want to say thank you for your continued support. As a bespoke jewelry line within the luxury market it’s obvious that during these times jewelry is probably the last thing on your mind. If you take this time to invest in a piece from Haati Chai, thank you. If you don’t, we hope you can look at your jewelry and think of the beautiful memories you have had wearing your piece.
We are so grateful to our patrons and partners for allowing us to do what we love, especially during these strange times. The weight of uncertainty feels heavy. We sincerely hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy and safe.
Haati Chai online remains open. Should you have questions or require assistance of any kind, you are welcome to contact us at info@

Masala Chai Tea makes one 8 ounce serving
3/4 cup water
2-4 whole green cardamom pods, smashed
1-2 thin slices fresh ginger
1 1-inch cinnamon stick
1 piece star anise
3/4 cup milk
1 1/2 teaspoons loose black tea leaves
Sweetener, to taste (I prefer honey or maple syrup)
In a small saucepan, combine the water, cardamom, ginger, cinnamon stick and star anise. Bring the mixture to a boil then lower the heat and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture is fragrant. Add the milk and tea leaves, and simmer for another minute then turn off the heat and let steep for 2 minutes. Pour into a cup through a fine mesh sieve. Discard the leaves and spices. Add sweetener, to taste.
